The Chestnut Hill College Men's Track and Field team concluded their season as three members participated at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship meet Friday and Saturday, May 3-4 at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey
The Griffins finished the meet with six total points, placing tenth overall. Goldey-Beacom College captured the championship with a total of 127 points.
Chestnut Hill's Michael Lopez-Zabala turned in a fifth place effort in the javelin throw with a personal best toss of 42.14 meters (138'3"). His toss at the conference championship meet is also the second longest toss in program history behind Jason Chedester's 42.58 meters set at the York Twilight meet in 2023.
Braden Berkey placed seventh in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 38:20.72 to score two points for Chestnut Hill.
Elijah Bey rounded out the Griffins competitors at the meet, placing 11th in the high jump competition clearing 1.75 meters (5'8¾").
The meet concludes the season for the Griffins' Men's Track and Field Team
