Rexney Thenor and Sophomore
Molly Killion were named to the 2022 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Lacrosse All-Academic Team as announced by the conference office on Wednesday.
Thenor (Burlington, N.J.) is a repeat selection on this year's team, having earned all-academic honors in 2021 while
Killion (Philadelphia, Pa.) garners her first all-academic nod.
In order to be eligible for the CACC All-Academic Teams, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, must have been a student-athlete at their current school for at least two semesters, and must have achieved a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher through the preceding semester.
Thenor, a psychology major, was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National Student Athlete Honor Society in 2022. She has also earned Dean's List and Athletic academic Honor Roll accolades four times since joining the team in the fall of 2020.
Killion is also a four-time honoree on the Chestnut Hill Athletic Academic Honor Roll and Dean's List rosters. She also earned CACC All-Academic honors for Women' Soccer in the fall.
Since the conference began honoring All-Academic women's Lacrosse players in 2008, 29 Chestnut Hill athletes have earned CACC Women's Lacrosse All-Academic honors a total of 64 times. Fourteen athletes have earned the honor three times during their career while seven others, including Thenor have been recognized twice by the conference.
