Chestnut Hill College Women's Tennis player Alison Isaac has been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Tennis Weekly Honor roll for her performance at last week's ITA East Region Championship Tournament in Flushing New York.

Isaac reached the round of 32 in singles competition at the ITA's, recording two wins before bowing out.  The junior opened the tournament with a decisive 8-2 win over Carolina Chaves of Adelphi University and followed that with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Frida Rubio of Daemen University to advance to the round of 32.

Facing Caroline Hany-Fawzy of Queens college in her third match, Isaac won the first set 6-2  but dropped the second set 6-3 forcing a tiebreaker, which Hany-Fawzy prevailed 10-8 to complete the 2-6, 6-3 1-0 (10-8) win and ending Isaac's run.

Teaming up with Nele Haag in doubles, the duo opened the competition with an 8-1 win over Marianna Ling and Lilly Schmidt of Queens to advance to the round of 32.  The two Griffin players dropped their round of 32 match, 8-1 to Ana Platisa and Liria Loria of Franklin Pierce.

For the tournament, Isaac went 2-1 in singles and 1-1 in doubles play.

The Chestnut Hill College Women's Tennis team returns to action on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 when they host Post University at the CHC Tennis Courts.  First serve is set for 2:00 p.m.
