2023 Chestnut Hill College Women's Soccer Schedule Announced

The Chestnut Hill College Department of Athletics and Head Women's Soccer Coach Jonathan Geist are pleased to announce their 2023 Women's Soccer schedule.

The Griffins are looking to build upon last season's 9-6-5 record and a solid playoff run as they reached the CACC Championship game for the first itme in program history.

This year's 14-game regular season schedule features eight home contests along with six games on the road.  Two of this year's home dates will be played right on campus at the Chestnut Hill college athletic field with the remaining six on the turf at Victory Field in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania.   The schedule features 11 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contests along with three non-conference games

The schedule also features two pre-season scrimmages with the Griffins hosting Harcum College on August 24 and traveling to Lincroft, New Jersey to face Brookdale Community College on August 31.

The Griffins jump right into conference play from game one, opening on the road at Jefferson University on September 12 before returning home to take on Bloomfield College (Sept. 16) and Daemen University (Sept. 19) at Victory Field..  Daemen is the first of the Griffins' three non-conference contests.

Chestnut Hill again takes to the road for games at Caldwell University (Sept. 23) and their second non-conference clash, a game at Assumption University in Worcester, Massachusetts on September 27. 

The Griffins then return to Philadelphia for a four-match homestand, starting with a contest against defending CACC champion University of Bridgeport in a rematch of last year's conference championship game on September 30.  The game will be the first of two for the Griffins on the campus' grass field.  They will also play their final non-conference game on the grass, hosting Roberts Wesleyan University on October 9 and conclude their homestand with a match against Post University at Victory Field on  October 14.

The final two weeks of the regular season will see the Griffins have home games against Felician University (Oct. 20) and holy Family University (Oct. 25), along with road contests at Wilmington University (Oct. 17), Dominican University (Oct. 28) and Georgian Court University (Oct. 31).

The CACC tournament opens on November 5 with the top eight teams in the league qualifying for post-season play.   The semi-finals and finals will be on November 10 and 12 and will be hosted by the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
