The Intercollegiate Tennis Association ("ITA") has released the Division II Men's and Women's Regional Singles and Doubles Rankings for November 13th, 2024.
Regional Rankings consist of the Top 20 singles rankings and the top 10 doubles rankings. Regional Rankings represent the Atlantic, Central, East, Midwest, South, South Central, Southeast, and West Regions.
A pair of Chestnut Hill College women's tennis players were included in the rankings for the East Region.  Senior Alison Isaac was ranked #11 in the East Region for singles and along with teammate, sophomore Lilian Bandel, was the seventh ranked duo among the East Region schools.
Bandel and Isaac are the first Griffin women's tennis players to earn an ITA region ranking since Mia Covic in November of 2017. Among the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference players ranked in the current listing, Isaac is the top-ranked player among the three CACC athletes ranked while the Isaac/Bandell duo is the top CACC doubles team among the three CACC doubles teams ranked.
Isaac turned in a stellar fall season, producing an overall mark of 16-2 while going undefeated in conference matches with an 9-0 record at #1 singles and a 10-0 mark at #1 doubles. She finished the fall with a 13-1 overall singles mark at #1 singles. The fifth year senior player has won 12 straight singles matches with her last loss coming in the quarterfinals of the ITA East Region Championship Tournament. Alison's only other loss came in a dual match against division I Mount St. Mary's in the opening match of the season back on September 6.
In doubles play, Bandel and Isaac teamed up to record a 9-3 record together in doubles play, including a perfect 6-0 mark in conference matches once they started pairing together mid-season. Conference-wise, both players went undefeated during fall season in doubles play with Isaac sporting a 10-0 mark and Bandel a 9-0 record. Overall Isaac sports a 15-3 doubles mark and Bandel a 14-4 mark in doubles play.
The women's tennis team returns to action in March of 2025.
