Three members of the Chestnut Hill College women's Track and Field Team earned All-Conference honors as the Griffins closed out their 2024 season with a seventh place finish at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Lakewood, New Jersey.

The Griffins finished with 31 points, 19.5 points behind sixth place Goldey-Beacom College 950.5). Felician University captured the title with 232 points.

Gabby Hassler recorded a personal-best time of 12:50.52, placing second in the 3,000 meter steeplechase, earning her first CACC all-conference honor.  She becomes just the second runner in program history to run a sub-13 minute time in the event joining Raquel Lopez, who holds the school record of 12:39.11 and has five sub-13 efforts including two first place finishes at the CACC Championships (2017, 2018).  Hassler's time is the fourth fastest in program history.

Hassler also finished seventh in the 5,000 meter run where teammate Sydney Watts earned All-CACC accolades with a second place finish with a time of 19:03.62.

Anastasia Watson rounds out the Griffins' three all-conference athletes, producing a second place finish in the discus throw with a toss of 37.93 meters on her final throw (124'5").  The junior thrower also won the discus event in 2022.

Watson also broke her own school record for the shot put with a throw of 11.20 meters (36'9"), 1.5" further than her previous record set last year (11.16 meters) at the York Twilight meet. 

Back on the track, Aubrey Elias and Rebecca Dalton placed eighth and ninth respectively in the 1,500 meter run with times of 5:19.37 and 5:27.53.

Rounding out the Griffins' competitors was Erin McCarthy in the javelin throw. McCarthy had a toss of 22.74 meters (74'7") to place 13^th in the event.

The meet concludes the Griffins 2024 Track and Field season.
