NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Chestnut Hill College softball has been picked to finish 12th in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) preseason coaches poll, announced by the league office today. Voting on the poll is done by the league's 12 head coaches.
Chestnut Hill finished last season at 2-20 in league play, placing 12th in the league.
Wilmington was chosen first, with 11 of the 12 first place votes, followed by Bridgeport, Goldey-Beacom, Felician, Caldwell, Holy Family, Caldwell, Georgian Court, Bloomfield, Jefferson, Dominican, Post and Chestnut Hill.
The Griffins, under second-year Head Coach Dave Scott open the 2025 season at home against the College of Staten Island on February 23. They begin CACC play on Saturday, March 15 vs. Bloomfield College.
