Chestnut Hill College standout Bridie McCann has been named to the 2024-25 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball All-Conference team, as announced by conference commissioner Dan Mara Tuesday afternoon.
McCann was named as a second team honoree and earns all-conference accolades for the second consecutive year.
The Griffins' leading scorer ranks 12th in the CACC averaging 13.1 points per game. McCann also ranks third in the CACC in three-point percentage at .381 and three-point field goals made.is ninth in the conference with 137 field goals made. She is also just one of four players in program history to make 60 or more three point field goals in back-to-back seasons and her 67 three-point field goals this season are the eighth highest single season total in program history.
The sophomore guard has made at least one three point field goal in 25 of 28 games during the season and has made at least two three-point baskets in ten straight games, heading into Tuesday's playoffs.
The Griffins' begin post-season play tonight when they travel to play the #2 seed from the North Caldwell University in a CACC quarterfinal match. Tipoff is set for 6:00 p.m.
