Chestnut Hill College Men's Basketball player Alejandro Redondo Cybak was named to the 2024-25 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball all-academic team in an announcement made by the conference office and commissioner Dan Mara.
In order to be eligible for the CACC All-Academic Teams, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, must have been a student-athlete at their current school for at least two semesters, and must have achieved a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher through the preceding semester.
Cybak was one of 19 players named to the team, representing nine of the 12 schools that participate in men's basketball within the conference. This year's honor is Cybak's first.
A computer science major, Cybak has earned Dean's List honors in every semester at Chestnut Hill and was named to the CACC Academic Honor Roll in each of the last three semesters. Cybak has also earned CHC Athletic Academic Honor Roll and Dean's List accolades three times while at Chestnut Hill.
Since joining the CACC for the 2007-08 season, seven Griffin men's basketball players have earned CACC Men's Basketball All-Academic Team honors a total of 13 times in the school's 18-year history as a conference member.
