Men's Track Team Close Out Regular Season at Paul Donahue Invitational

The Chestnut Hill College Men's Track and field team closed out their regular season as they competed at the Paul Donahue Invitational at Widener University over the weekend showcasing three personal best performances and adding another qualifier for the upcoming Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship.

Braden Berkey qualified for the championship meet at 10,000 meters finishing ninth in the race with a time of 35:01.67 while Rudolph Del Prete ran a personal best time of 18:48.81 in the 5,000-meter run.

Ryan O'Hara also ran a personal best time in the 3,000-meter steeplechase  placing 24th overall with a time of 11:11.34

Elijah Bey continued his solid freshman season, recording a personal best height of 1.93 meters (6'4") en route to a sixth place finish in the high jump.  His 1.93 meter effort was the second best effort in program history, behind only the 1.95 meters (6'4¾") jumped by Bryant Quill in 2016.

Donald Bonham and Cidi Yillah rounded out the Griffins competitors at the meet.  Bonham competed at 100-meters recording a time of 12.36 seconds while Yillah finished the 800-meter run with a time of 3:24.86.

The men's track and field team will be back in action for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference on May 4-5, 2025, in Lakewood, New Jersey.
