Six members of the Chestnut Hill College Softball team have been named to the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Softball All-Academic Team in an announcement made by the conference office.
Named to this year's  CACC All-Academic team were senior Jazmine Ramirez; juniors Jenn Pokropinski, Michelle Baker, Rebecca Cessna, and Izabella Rodriguez; and sophomore Belle Tetreault.  Ramirez is a three-time honoree while Baker and Pokropinski are two-time honorees. Cessna, Rodriguez and Tetreault earn all-Academic Team honors for the first time.   The six were among 53 student athletes from the ten member institutions that sponsored softball in 2026 to earn all-academic team status
To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and be in his/her second year at his/her current institution. New for 2025-26, honorees must also either compete in at least two-thirds of their team's games or start at least half. Pitchers must either appear in at least 10 games or pitch at least 30 innings.
The six softball players have all been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Academic Honor Roll multiple times, with Pokropinski, Baker and Ramirez earning the award five times, Â while Cessna, Tetreault and Rodriguez have been named three times. Â
Five of the six were also inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the national college athlete honor Society with Pokropinski, Cessna, Rodriguez and Baker earning induction in May, while Ramirez was inducted in 2025. These same five athletes also earned D2 Athletic Director's Association (D2ADA) Academic Achievement Award honors for 2024-25.
Ramirez, a media and communications major, earned CACC All-Academic Team honors in 2024 and 2025 and is a two time D2ADA Academic Achievement Award winner.  She has earned  Dean's List honors in every semester at Chestnut Hill college and recently graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Pokropinski was named to the CACC All-Academic team in 2025 and has earned Dean's List honors in each of her first six semesters at Chestnut Hill. She is a dual major at the college (early education/special education),
Cessna also sports a dual major of early education and special education and has earned Dean's List honors in each of her first four semesters at Chestnut Hill. She earned CACC all-Academic team honors in 2025.
A biochemistry major, Rodriguez was named an Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar for 2025-26. She has also earned Dean's List honors in each of her first four semesters at Chestnut Hill.
Baker, an exercise science major and earned all-academic team honors in 2025. She has earned Dean's List honors in each of her first six semesters at Chestnut Hill.
Tetreault, a law and legal studies major in the classroom is a Dean's List student and is also part of the schools' Interdisciplinary Honors Program and participated in the SEPCH conference last year.
Since joining the CACC for the 2008 season, 44 Chestnut Hill College Softball players have been named to CACC Softball All-Academic team a total of 80 times. Twelve of the 44, including Ramirez  have earned All-Academic honors three times during their career with an additional 12 players, including Baker and Pokropinski earning the honor twice.Â
