Four members of the Chestnut Hill College Softball team have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division II Women's Softball Academic All District® team in an announcement made by the organization and the CSC Academic All-America® committee Tuesday afternoon.
Named to this year's academic all-district team were juniors Izabella Rodrgiuez, Rebecca Cessna and Jenn Pokropinski along with sophomore Belle Tetreault. Rodriguez, who was a 2025 Academic All-district® honoree, becomes the first Griffins softball player to earn academic all-district accolades twice.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field or court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be eligible for Academic All-District® accolades, student-athletes must be at least at sophomore athletically and academically, appear in 90 percent of their team's contests and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better. Graduate students must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA in both their undergraduate and graduate programs.
