Louisville, Ky. - The Chestnut Hill College softball team saw a record number of honorees as 14 members of the 2026 team earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete honors as announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Wednesday afternoon.

The 14  Griffins honored betters the eight that were recognized in 2021-2022 by the NFCA. This year's group of honorees are the first to be recognized since that 201-22 season.

In order to earn NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete honors a  softball student-athlete must have a 3.5 grade point average over the course of the academic year (fall 2025, spring 2026).  The NFCA recognized 1,869 NCAA Division II softball players as NFCA All-America Scholar Athletes this year, with 51 of those coming from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.
