Two members of the Chestnut Hill College Men's Lacrosse team have been named to the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team in an announcement made by the conference office.
Named to this year's All-Academic team were senior Daniel Myers and sophomore Thomas Gallagher.  Myers is a three-time honoree while Gallagher earns all-academic status for the first time. The two were among 53 student athletes from all nine member institutions that sponsored men's lacrosse in 2026 to earn all-academic team status
To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and be in his/her second year at his/her current institution. New for 2025-26, honorees must also either compete in at least two-thirds of their team's games or start at least half.
A business administration and management major, Myers recently was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District At-Large Team for 2025-26.  He was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the national college athlete honor society in 2025 and is a two-time D2 Athletic Director's Association Academic Achievement Award Winner.  Myers has earned Dean's List accolades in five times in his four years at Chestnut Hill and has also earned CACC Academic Honor Roll accolades in each of his past five semesters.
Gallagher, a nursing major has earned Dean's List accolades in three of his first four semesters while also being named to the CACC Academic Honor Roll in each of his first three semesters. In the fall, Gallagher competed on the cross country team and was named to the CACC Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team
Since men's lacrosse became a CACC sponsored sport in 2018, 22 different Griffin men's lacrosse players have been named to the CACC Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team a total of 45 times. Myers becomes the seventh player earning All-Academic honors three times.  Six additional players have earned All-Academic honors twice.  One athlete, Connor O'Donnell was named to the all-academic team four times.
