The United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) has announced their Team Academic Award winners for the 2026 season with the Chestnut Hill College Men's Lacrosse team earning recognition for the sixth consecutive year.

In order to be recognized by the USILA as a Team Academic Award winner, the program must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and the school must be a USILA member.  The Griffins posted a cumulative grade point average of 3.302 

The men's lacrosse program was one of 29 NCAA Division II schools and one of four from the Central Atlantic Collegaite conference selected as USILA Team Academic Award winners.  This list also included Division II National Champions Adelphi University.   Lynn University had the highest  g.p.a. in the nation for division II for the second consecutive year.

The Griffins are also just one of eight Division II programs nationally and four in the North Region that have earned the USILA Team Academic Award in each of the last six seasons.

Chestnut Hill finished 2026 with a 9-5 record reaching the CACC Championship game for the seventh time in eight seasons, losing to Wilmington University in the final  The program also boasted two CSC Academic All-District honorees, one Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area selections and placed four players on the CACC all-Academic Team.
