Duddy Makes ECC Honor Roll

                                                                                                                   
Central Islip, NY – (3/27/2012) – Chestnut Hill College junior midfielder Mike Duddy (Toms River, NJ) offered three goals, including the game-winner, in the Griffins narrow 10-9 defeat of Wheeling Jesuit University on Saturday, March 24 to earn recognition on the East Coast Conference (ECC) Week Six Honor Roll.
 
Wheeling Jesuit University (WJU) kept the contest interesting, leading early before giving way to eight straight Chestnut Hill College (6-1, 3-1) goals that gave the home team a 9-4 halftime advantage. The Cardinals looked to rally with a 2-0 third quarter, 9-6, and the first two goals of the fourth quarter, 9-8, but a third Duddy goal provided the necessary cushion for a Griffin victory, 10-9. Duddy hustled to three ground balls as well. For the season, Duddy ranks third on the Griffins in points with 14, totaling 11 goals and three assists. He also has totaled 15 ground balls and three caused turnovers.
