Riiff Repeats as CACC Honorable Mention
                           
New Haven, CT – (10/5/2010) – Junior forward Lauren Riiff (Clementon, NJ) reeled in her second consecutive honorable mention among the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) weekly awards winners after claiming the league’s Player of the Week title on September 21. This week, Riiff played a role in each of the Griffins three goals at Dominican College, helping Chestnut Hill College remain unbeaten in the CACC with a 1-0-1 week.
 
After failing to record a shot against Holy Family University on September 28, Riiff netted two goals and an assist at Dominican College to lead Chestnut Hill College (8-1-2, 6-0-1) to a 3-0 win on October 2. Riiff first helped freshman forward Marykate McShane (Lebanon, PA) score her goal at 13:02, and then she scored twice in the second half to land the Griffins the 3-1 win. As of October 3, Riiff led the Griffins in goals (6), assists (3), and points (15), while only playing in eight of the Griffins 10 contests. She also leads the team in shots (29) and game-winning goals (3).
 
The women’s soccer team continues CACC play on Thursday, October 7, with a 4:30 p.m. contest at Philadelphia University.
