Philadelphia, Pa. – (9/4/2013) – After breaking new ground in 2012-2013, the Chestnut Hill College men's tennis team proved to be the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's (CACC) only competition for the four-time CACC Champions, Concordia College (NY). Returning his complete roster from the program's first National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II Championship Tournament berth, Head Coach
Albert Stroble and his Griffins are ready for their next shot at the Clippers.
Deep and well-conditioned, the 2013-2014 roster offers talent and competition at every spot in the lineup. Amongst the returning Griffins, most notable are juniors
Michael Humes (Mount Laurel, N.J.) and
Steven Say (Cannes, France), and seniors
Yoann Pham (Boulogne-Billancourt, France) and senior
Anthony Moore (Williamstown, N.J.). Humes garnered All-CACC Second Team status and a #15 Individual East Regional Ranking from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) with a 17-8 singles record; 15-9 at number one singles. Say was a CACC All-Tournament performer after his 14-7 singles finish between flights two through five.
