Philadelphia, Pa. – (4/13/2014) – In a busy week of competition, Chestnut Hill College went 4-2 with both the men's and women's tennis teams winning their Saturday matches at the Bloomsburg University Duals before losing to St. Joseph's University in a Sunday dual match. Junior

Iman Williams-Mulesa (Pickering, Ontario) each three wins over the weekend, while freshmen
Mariano Porter (Cuemacava, Mexico) was undefeated in both singles and doubles play.
The Chestnut Hill College (17-7) women scored back-to-back 5-1 wins over Slippery Rick University and the University of Charleston, after their first match of the Bloomsburg University was cancelled due to some Friday evening showers. The weekend concluded with a 7-0 loss at St. Joseph's University where the Hawks won all three doubles matches 8-2 and took all six singles matches in straight sets. Senior
Kelly Dennis (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Williams-Mulesa won both of their number two doubles matches while Oechsle was the only Griffin to complete her singles flight in both matches at the Bloomsburg University.
Porter and freshman
Pedro Oranges (Sao Paulo, Brazil) were 3-0 at number two doubles for the Chestnut Hill College (15-5) men; winning 8-6 over the Rams second duo flight, 8-2 over the Golden Bears second team, and 8-6 over the Hawks middle pair. Porter also claimed two singles at number one singles, scoring a 6-1, 6-1 win in the victory over the Rams and a 6-2, 6-4 win over the Hawk's senior Jose Sierra (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico). Junior
Michael Humes (Mt. Laurel, N.J.) collected four wins over the weekend while senior
Manuel Ceniceros (Mexico City, Mexico) earned three.
The Chestnut Hill College men's and women's tennis teams will host the University of the District of Columbia in a 1:00 p.m. dual match on Tuesday, April 15.
