Philadelphia, Pa. - (6/4/2015) – Living up to two straight National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II President's Awards, Chestnut Hill College Associate Director of Athletics for Academic Success and Community Engagement Nikki Lockhart is pleased to announce that a record 94 student-athletes qualified for the Spring 2015 Athletics Academic Honor Roll; of those that garnered recognition, 16 earned a 4.0 grade point average (GPA). The women's soccer team offered five of those 16 students, yet gave way to women's tennis for the highest team GPA from the spring semester (3.84). Meanwhile, the men's track and field team earned the highest team GPA for a male team, reporting a 3.28 team GPA. Overall the Griffins combined for a 3.17 GPA, the department's highest semester GPA to date.
 
This year's total surpassed last spring's mark by a dozen student-athletes, continuing an upward trend in the College's athletic academic achievement since the institution of Lockhart's position in 2010. Listed below, the recipients of the award will be recognized during the 2015 fall season.
