Jaeda Wildgoose
Box Score East Stroudsburg, Pa. - (11/22/2017) – After holding an early edge on East Stroudsburg University, Chestnut Hill College fell victim to a 23-8 turnover margin that eventually precipitated a 20-point, 94-74, Warrior victory. Senior guard Vicky Tumasz (North Wales, Pa.) led four Griffins in double figures with 18 points; another was junior forward Jaeda Wildgoose (Somerset, N.J.), who recorded her third double-double in four games with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

A balanced Chestnut Hill College (2-2) effort kept the Griffins a step ahead of East Stroudsburg University (4-1) early in the affair as junior guard Mary Trossi (Somerset, N.J.) gave the Scarlet and Gold a three-point, 12-9, edge just past the four minute mark (3:59) of the first quarter. Two minutes later (2:02) a layup from sophomore forward Shannon Glenn (Philadelphia, Pa.) returned the Griffins to the lead, 14-12, but that would be the last time the home team would trail in the game. The Warriors ended the first quarter with a 6-0 run, 18-14, that bled into the second frame. There, East Stroudsburg University led by as many as nine points, 23-14 (8:41), before Trossi and Wildgoose inspired a late Chestnut Hill College rally that reduced the Warrior advantage to a single point, 30-29, just three minutes (3:17) before the break. But again the home team finished strong, reestablishing lead at seven points, 40-33, for halftime.

East Stroudsburg University advanced their lead to double digits four times in the third quarter and maxed it out at 23 points, 92-69, late in the fourth quarter (2:31). Senior guard Imani Brown (Lake Hopatcong, N.J.) and sophomore guard Tiffany Lapotsky (Ashland, Pa.) lead four Warriors who finished in double figures; Brown  scored a game-high 22 points with four (4-of-9, .444) three point baskets and four (4-of-4, 1.000) free throws while Lapotsky matched 17 points with seven rebounds, three assists, and a steal. Junior guard Noelle Powell (Glen Mills, Pa.) (15 points) and sophomore guard Sadie Cresswell (Pottsville, Pa.) (13) were the other two Warriors in double digit scoring, they combined for 28 of the Warriors' 40 bench points.

Tumasz scored half of her baskets (6-of-13, .462 FG%) from beyond the three point line (3-of-8, .375 3PT%). She was also 3-of-4 (.750) from the free throw line and grabbed eight rebounds in her fourth straight double digit scoring performance. Wildgoose added an assist and two blocks to her double-double. Glenn and freshman guard Cassie Sebold (Willow Grove, Pa.) were the other two Griffins in double figures. Glenn match Wildgoose's 13 points in excess of three rebounds, three assists, and a block, while Sebold came off the Scarlet and Gold bench for 10 points, three rebounds, and three assists in her collegiate debut. Trossi finished with nine points, five rebounds, and three assists.
