Chestnut Hill College (6-3, 4-1) was up 5-0 before the 11-minute mark (11:40) of the first quarter. Klusaritz scored twice in the opening run (13:10 and 11:40) and located junior
Joshua Pope once (12:40), but it was triggered by an unassisted score from senior midfielder
Andrew Dooley (Monroe Township, N.J.) at 13:48. Dooley scored a second unassisted goal in the mix (12:21) as well. By the first-quarter break the Griffins owned a 7-2 advantage. It ballooned to 13-2 by halftime, and 20-3 at the end of the third, before resting on an 18-goal, 22-4, differential.
Junior midfielder Christopher Van Ooteghem (Port Elgin, Canada) scored three of the Lions' four goals. He also recorded recovered two ground balls. Freshman Christopher Mulholland (Wall, N.J.) showed slightly better in goal than his predecessor as he recorded all six of the Lions saves in the final 41:40.
Klusaritz may have scored eight goals, but Dambach totaled 12 points in all as he paired his seven assists with five goals of his own. He also recovered a ground ball and caused a turnover. Junior possession control specialist
