Box Score Lafayette Hill, Pa. – (4/15/2017) – Chestnut Hill College sent the 2017 senior class off with plenty of fanfare as several graduating Griffins made major roles in a 17-4 East Coast Conference (ECC) win over the visitors form St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC). Senior midfielder
Andrew Dooley (Monroe Township, N.J.), senior attack
Tanner Fisher (Port Coquitlam, British Columbia), and senior attack
Alec Dambach (Howell, N.J.) were chief among them, but junior attack

Junior midfielder
Joshua Pope (Schnecksville, Pa.) scored the first goal of the contest for Chestnut Hill College (7-3, 5-1) at 10:55 of the first quarter, 1-0. After the intermission, St. Thomas Aquinas College (4-8, 1-5) endured much of the same as the Chestnut Hill College advantage reached 10 goals, 13-3, on a pinpoint pass from junior midfielder
Gerard Lyle (Baldwin, N.Y.) to Dambach, who beat the Spartan goalkeeper and the third-quarter clock (0:01). A 4-1 fourth-quarter spread brought the Griffins a 13-goal, 17-4, victory; the last of the tallies was the first in the collegiate career of freshman midfielder
Jake Smith (Delran, N.J.).
Junior attack Briele Caples (Rochester, N.Y.) was the Spartans' top performer with two goals, an assist, and a ground ball. Freshman goalkeeper Ryan Guild (New Windsor, N.Y.) (1-4) played most of the minutes in goal (57:53) for STAC, totaling 13 saves and a ground ball.
