Box Score Wilmington, Del. - (1/30/2018) – Reaching their 10th Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) win of the season, Chestnut Hill College used another double-double (11 points, 11 rebounds) from junior forward Jaeda Wildgoose (Somerset, N.J.) and a season-high 21 points from junior guard Mary Trossi (Somerset, N.J.) to score a 75-64 win over Goldey-Beacom College. The Griffins' ability to get to the free throw line and convert was the difference in the contest as the Scarlet and Gold made 22-of-25 (.880) charity stripe attempts in comparison to the Lightning's 3-of-8 (.278) showing.

Chestnut Hill College (14-8, 10-3) spread the ball around in the first half as Trossi (8 points) penetrated, Wildgoose rebounded (9 points, 7 rebounds), and sophomore forward Shannon Glenn (Philadelphia, Pa.) (8 points) connected from the outside for a 38-26 halftime advantage. After intermission, Trossi and Glenn led the Griffins' parade to the free throw line; the former hit 7-of-9 (.778) and the latter 6-of-6 (1.000) in a 19-of-21 Scarlet and Gold effort that cemented the league victory over Goldey-Beacom College (6-15, 4-8).

Senior forward Brittani Bryson (Hampton, Va.) led the Lightning with 15 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, a block, and a steal. Fellow senior post, Margherita Giubelei (Cesena, Italy) matched her offensive output (15 points) while also recording three rebounds and an assist. Sophomore guard Amanda McGrogan (Mt. Laurel, N.J.) was Goldey-Beacom College's third player in double figures with 12 points in excess of her eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

Trossi was 7-of-15 (.467) from the field and 7-of-10 (.700) from the free throw as the Griffins' top scorer. She complimented her scoring with five rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Meanwhile, Wildgoose's 11th double-double of the season came with a steal. Glenn and senior guard Vicky Tumasz (North Wales, Pa.) joined them in double figures and combined to hit all five (5-of-11, .455) of the Griffins' three point field goals (5-of-16, .313). Glenn paired 17 points with five rebounds and two assists, while Tumasz supplied 12 points, three rebounds, five assists, and three steals.
