Brielle Riotte (Elizabeth, N.J.) scored the run home, 1-0. Wilmington University (27-13, 13-4) tied Griffins in the second inning, 1-1, with pair of two-out hits and added two more runs in the fifth inning, 3-1, before finishing the Griffins with a seven-run sixth inning, 10-1. Eberhard (3-10) allowed three runs on eight hits and a walk, while striking out three in the initial 4.1 innings.
The Chestnut Hill College softball team go on the road for a pair of CACC contests tomorrow, Saturday, April 21, when they visit Concordia College (NY) for a 1:00 p.m. doubleheader.
