Claudia Rasilla recorded the only singles win for the Chestnut Hill College women's Tennis team as they fell to Jefferson University 6-1 in the conference regular season finale Tuesday afternoon at the CHC Tennis Courts.
The Griffins finished conference play with a 4-6 record and a fourth place finish, qualifying for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament for the fourth consecutive year.
Rasilla won her match at #6 singles, beating Rose Huang 0-6, 7-5, 1-0 (11-9), improving to 7-3 on the season.Â
The Griffins other win in the match came at #1 doubles where
Carlota Garcia Arguelles and
Romi Meirovich defeating Isla Thornicroft and Nicole Hrbkova, 6-2. The Rams went on to capture the doubles point by winning the other two doubles contests.
The Chestnut Hill College Women's Tennis team will compete at the CACC Tournament Championship on Saturday, October 22, 2022 when they face top seed and host Wilmington University at the Delcastle Tennis Center in Wilmington, Delaware. First serve is set for 10:00 a.m.
