The Chestnut Hill College women's volleyball team, fresh off their first post-season appearance since 2016, placed three players on the 2022 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Volleyball all-Academic team in an announcement by the conference office Thursday morning.
In order to be eligible for the CACC All-Academic Teams, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, must have been a student-athlete at their current school for at least two semesters, and must have achieved a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher through the preceding semester.

Mia Caporellie is a first time honoree.
The three honorees were also named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Volleyball Team two weeks ago. The CSC All-District team is the first step towards a potential selection for Academic All-America status. Â Â Ramos, Kelley and Caporellie were also 2021-22 D2 Athletic Director's Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement Award winners.
Earlier this week, Ramos and Caporellie earned another major academic honor as the two were voted onto the PhillySIDA Area All-Academic Volleyball Team, just the second and third players in program history to be selected for this honor. The PhillySIDA Area all-Academic team honorees are nominated and voted on by the 30 areas sports communications offices and include all NCAA Divisions.
A health sciences major, Ramos has earned Dean's list honors in each of her six previous semesters at Chestnut Hill and has also been named to the CHC Athletic Academic honor roll six times. She was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the national Student athlete honor society in the spring of 2022 and has earned departmental honors consistently throughout her academic career at Chestnut Hill.
Kelley is a member of the Sigma Zeta honor society and has earned Dean's List accolades three times in addition to CHC Athletic Academic honor roll four times. She is carrying a double major of forensic chemistry and forensic biology.
First time CACC all-Academic honoree Caporellie has earned Dean's List and CHC Athletic Academic honor roll accolades in each of her four semesters at Chestnut Hill.
Since joining the CACC for the 2007-08 season, 21 Griffin Women's Volleyball players have been named to the CACC Women's Volleyball Academic Honor Rolls a total of 49 times. Ramos is one of 12 Griffin volleyball players to be recognized on the CACC All-Academic team three times while Kelley is one of four players to earn CACC all-Academic Volleyball accolades twice.
