Sydney Watts lowered another one of her school records on Friday as the Chestnut Hill College Women's Track and Field team competed at the Fasttrack Last Chance Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, New York.
Watts competed in the 3,000 meter run, lowering her school record by nearly eight seconds with a time of 10:58.31, placing 11th overall.
In the mile run, Rebecca Dalton finished 19th with a time of 6:00.33 and Soleil Casseus finished 20th with a time of 6:43.36.
Gabby Hassler handled the 400 and 800 meter events, finishing 17th in the 400 meters with a time of 1:11.03 and 21st in the 800 meters with a time of 2:41.14
In the sprints DeAnna Otero competed in the 60 meter dash  finishing with a time of 8.92 in the preliminaries while placing 26th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 29.99.
The women's track and field team returns to action at the Purple and gold open hosted by West Chester University on March 22, 2025.
