The Chestnut Hill College Women's Track and Field team added three more qualifiers for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship meet as they competed at the Paul Donahue Invitational at Widener University over the weekend.
Highlighting the performances at the meet were two personal best efforts and four top twenty finishes.
Two of the three qualifying efforts came in the javelin throw as Grace Mott and Anastasia Watson turned in personal best throws to place 11th and 12th respectively in the competition. Mott threw the javelin 27.86 meters (91'5") while Watson had a toss of 27.64 meters (90'8"). For Watson it marked the third event she has qualified for the conference championship, along with the shot put and discus throws.
Gabby Hassler qualified for her second event at the championships with a 21:03.30 effort in the 5,000-meter run.
Watson placed sixth in the discus throw with a toss of 38.54 meters (126'5") and 16th in the shot put with a throw of 10.75 meters (35' 3¼").
The women's track and field team will be back in action for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference on May 4-5, 2025, in Lakewood, New Jersey.
