Three Griffins Named to the 2025 CACC Men's Lacrosse All-Conference Team

Three members of the Chestnut Hill college Men's Lacrosse team were named to the 2025 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Lacrosse All-conference Team on Wednesday as announced by the conference office and CACC commissioner Dan Mara.

Selected as first team honorees were graduate student Mick Kilgallon at midfield and senior Evan Farlow at short-stick defensive midfield. Senior Sam Slater was named to the second team as an attack. The three Griffins selected are earning all-conference accolades for the first time.

Kilgallon played in all 12 games this season for the Griffins, starting 11. He leads the team in goals with 26 and points (42) and is second on the team with 16 assists. Kilgallon has 22 ground balls, the fourth best total on the team. Conference wise- Mick ranks ninth in the league in goals/game (2.127) and points/game (3.50) and tenth in shots/game (7.50). He scored multiple goals in eight of the Griffins' 12 games, including a five-goal four assist effort against Wheeling University in Chestnut Hill's season opener.

This season Kilgallon earned USILA Division II Team of the Week Honors once along with CACC Player of the Week. He was also named to the conference honor roll one time.

Farlow has played in every game and has been a solid defender for the Griffins all-season long, ranking second on the team with 27 ground balls and fifth on the team with eight caused turnovers. He also scored a goal and three assists on the season.

In his four seasons, Farlow has recorded 22 caused turnovers to rank among the Griffins' top 20 all-time leaders.

Slater has started all 12 games this season and  is second on the team in goals with 23 and points with 37. Slater is also third on the team with 14 assists. He earned CACC player of the week honors earlier this month after his nine point (six goals, three assists) performance against Holy Family University. Slater has scored multiple goals seven times this season.

In his four seasons, Slater ranks ninth on the Griffins all time list with 69 goals, 48 assists and 117 points.

The Chestnut Hill College Men's Lacrosse Team will begin defense of their championship with a tournament semi final game at Georgian Court University on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. First faceoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
