Chestnut Hill College Sprint Football player Cam Goldsmith was named to the Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Men's At-Large team in an announcement from the organization. Goldsmith was one of the ten athletes selected to the team. The men's at-large team is voted on by the sports information offices of 30 institutions from the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

The Philly-SIDA at-large teams are made up of student-athletes representing sports that do not have their own team selected by Philly-SIDA.  This year's men's at large team represents athletes who participated in sprint football, squash, fencing, cricket and wrestling.

In order to be eligible for Academic All-Area, an athlete must be in his or her second year at the institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better. A student in graduate school must have at least a 3.30 grade point average in both undergraduate and graduate school (if not in first semester of graduate program).

Goldsmith was a Collegiate Sprint Football League First Team defense honoree this past season  and is also a three-time CSFL all-Academic Team honoree. He is currently pursuing his master's degree in business administration.  He was the 2025 Chestnut Hill College Comeback Player of the Year Award winner at the annual Griffin Awards show and was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma the national college athlete honor society that same year.

The senior linebacker broke the school record last season with 8.5 sacks.  He ifinshed his career as one of just ten players to record 100 or more tackles and ranks among the Griffins' top 15 all time in ten defensive statistical categories.

Goldsmith is joined on the Academic all-Area team by Haverford College fencer Eric Chen (Performer of the Year) along with Haverford's  Aaryaman Jaising (Squash), Nihaal Kichar (Cricket), Dean Myers (Fencing), and Michael Pyo (Fencing). Braden Kmak (Wrestling) and Nils Updale (Wrestling) of Ursinus also earned the honor. Penn's Hao Cui (Squash), Neumann's Max Donohoe (Ice Hockey) round out the team.
