Four Chestnut Hill College student-athletes have been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team in an announcement made by the organization and the CSC Academic All-America® committee.
Named to this year's men's at-large academic all-district team were senior Daniel Myers from the men's lacrosse team and sophomore's Thomas Gallagher , Rogelio Gerena and Kiefer Sharman. Gallagher is a member of the men's lacrosse team while Gerena and Sharman are members of the men's golf team. Myers earns Academic All-District® honors for the second consecutive year.
To be eligible for Academic All-District® accolades, student-athletes must be at least at sophomore athletically and academically, appear in 90 percent of their team's contests or start in 66% and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better. Graduate students must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA in both their undergraduate and graduate programs.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field or court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes Women's At-Large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. At-large honorees represent sports that the CSC Academic All-America® program does not honor with their own separate team.
Myers, a senior, most recently was named to the USILA Division II all-North Region team as an honorable mention selection. He was a first team All-CACC honoree for 2026, leading the team with 23 caused turnovers. The senior defender also recorded 31 ground balls.
A business administration and management major, Myers was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the national college athlete honor society in 2025 and is a soon-to-be three-time CACC All-Academci team honoree. He has also earned CACC Academic Honor Roll accolades in each of his past six semesters.
Gallagher, a sophomore defender, finished the season second on the team with 21 caused turnovers and third on the team with 34 ground balls. A nursing major, he has earned Dean's List and CACC Academic Honor Roll accolades in every semester while at Chestnut Hill. He is slated to earn his first CACC All-Academic team honor later this month.
Gerena was the top golfer on this year's squad with an average of 79.72 over 18 rounds. He tied the school record for the lowest round shot with a score of 69 at the Pull the Pin Tournament in the fall, earning the first tournament win of his career. A health science major, Gerena has earned CACC Academic honor Roll and Deanb's List accolades in every semester while at Chestnut Hill. He, along with Sharman are also slated to earn the first CACC All-Academic team honor later this month.
Sharman had the second highest average on the team during the season at 82.4 while competing in all 11 tournaments (18 rounds). A business administration and management major, Sharman has earned CACC Academic honor Roll and Deanb's List accolades in every semester while at Chestnut Hill
Academic All-District® honorees are reviewed by a group of Academic All-America® committee members for consideration for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® national ballot, where first, second and third team Academic All-America® honorees are chosen by the CSC Division II membership and the Academic All-America® core committee. Honorees will be announced in early July.
