Four members of the Chestnut Hill College Sprint Football team were named to the 2026 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society based on their academic and athletic achievements over their careers.

The four seniors on the Griffins sprint football team that were recognized were offensive lineman Ced Brown, linebacker Cam Goldsmith; defensive lineman Jonathan Havrilak and cornerback Justin Oppong.

The NFF Hampshire Honor Society recognizes football players in their final year of eligibility with at least a 3.2 cumulative undergraduate grade point average who were starters or contributors during the 2025 season. A record 2,596 players from 365 schools qualified for membership in 2026, marking the largest class in the program's 20-year history. Since its inception, the initiative has honored 23,568 student-athletes.

Havrilak is also a three-time CSFL All Academic Team honoree and earned second team defense all-conference honors in 2023 and 2024.  Oppong joins Goldsmith and Havrilak as three time CSFL all-Academic Team honorees.   Brown earned CSFL all-Academic Team honors for the first time in 2025.

The four NFF Hampshire Honor Society honorees bring the Griffins total to 18 players honored since the 2021 season.
