Chosen by the Athletics Administration, Athletics Training staff, and Athletic Communications Coordinator, the Athletic Director's Award is given annually to a male and female student-athlete who best demonstrates dedication to the mission of the College and excels in their sport of choice. The recipients of this award embody what it means to be a Griffin; a majesty of two planes. This year's honorees were seniors; Donald Lynch III (Mullica Hill, N.J.) of the men's lacrosse team and Jessica Veazey (Middletown, Del.) of the women's soccer team.
 
While serving as key contributors to their athletic teams, Lynch and Veazey have also served the College as active and dedicated members of the community. Lynch, a member of the College's Mask and Foil, Student Government Association, Chestnut Hill Activities Team (CHAT),  Quidditch Committee, and the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC), for which he serves as President, has been a two-year starter and a key contributor to the men's lacrosse program. One of nine graduating seniors from the inaugural men's lacrosse roster, Lynch recorded two goals, three assists, 74 ground balls, and 36 caused turnovers over his four-year career. He currently serves as the College's Senior Class President while also volunteering with Philabundance and serving as a Chestnut Hill College Orientation Leader.
