O’Donnell and Saxon Score Spots On CACC Weekly Report 
                                                                                                                   
New Haven, Conn. – (4/7/2014) – Freshman Kevin O'Donnell (Cape May Courthouse, N.J.) returned to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Golf Weekly Report for his third Rookie of the Week award. This time he was joined by sophomore Bryan Saxon (Califon, N.J.), who was recognized with an Honor Roll mention for his ninth-place finish at the Goldey-Beacom College Invitational.
 
Saxon emerged as Chestnut Hill College's top performer at Deerfield Golf Course as the sophomore's second-day 75 (+5) tied him for ninth place in the field. Behind Saxon, O’Donnell turned in the Griffins next best two-day total with his day-two 79 (+9) leaving him with at 162 (+22) strokes, tied for 14th. The Griffins finished the invitational in 4th place (4th of 5) with 656 (332-324, +96) strokes.
 
The golf team competes next on April 7-9, when Chestnut Hill College hosts the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship Tournament at Blue Bell Country Club.
