CACC Rookie of the Week Award
 
New Haven, CT – (10/18/2010) – For the second time this season, freshman midfielder Carly DiGiovanni (Seaville, NJ) was selected as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week. DiGiovanni headed the game-winner in at Nyack College on October 16, scoring her second goal of the season. She was the CACC Rookie of the week for the week ending September 5.
 
Freshman midfielder Steph Litty (Marlton, NJ) set-up for a t corner kick at 31:58, she located DiGiovanni for the header, giving the Chestnut Hill College (11-2-2, 9-1-1) a 1-0 lead over the Warriors. The Griffins would hold on for the CACC win, improving their league best standing to 9-1-1. DiGiovanni has seven points with two goals and three assists this season. She has totaled 12 shots and she is 1-for-1 on penalty kick opportunities.
 
The women’s soccer team breaks from their CACC schedule for a trip to East Stroudsburg University on Wednesday, October 20. The Griffins and Warriors will kickoff at 7:00 p.m.
