With plenty of statistics to go around, the Griffins were led by a trio of five-point scorers in junior midfielder

An exchange of free position goals opened the scoring just past the 27-minute mark (26:47) of the first half, 1-1 at 22:44. But from there Chestnut Hill College (2-5) demonstrated their superior ability as they struck three times before the next Firebird tally at 15:02, 4-2, and outscored the visitors 14-4 in the first frame. With a running clock in the second half the Griffin goals kept coming, leaving a UDC (1-4) goal at 14:58, 18-5, as the only interruption in a 21-5 Scarlet and Gold victory.
Junior defender Dominique Dotson (Coram, N.Y.) and senior midfielder Amber Walls (Temple Hills, Md.) each scored twice for the Firebirds. Dotson added two ground balls and three draws to her scoring while Walls additionally provided a ground ball, eight draws, and a caused turnover. The fifth UDC goal came from sophomore defender Yara Oudat (Washington, DC) who also recorded three draws. In goal, junior Dani Falco (Middletown, Del.) made seven saves and caused a turnover in the loss (1-4).
Nine Griffins scored in all with seven of them recording more than one in a 35-17 shot advantage. Perry added an assist and a draw to the second four-goal game of her career while O'Leary and Galantich each recorded their five-point performances with three goals and two assists. O'Leary offered two ground balls and a draw in excess of her offensive production. Galantich supported her offense with two draws. Senior midfielder

The women's lacrosse team opens their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedule with their next contest; a 7:00 p.m. game versus Wilmington University on Tuesday, March 30.
