Chestnut Hill College (4-5, 2-0) wasted no time scoring on Felician University (0-3, 0-2), who was mired behind an 8-0 deficit after the opening ten minutes (20:11) of the contest. Even after a Golden Falcon timeout, the Griffins kept rolling with four additional goals (12-0) before intermission. After the break, the dominance continued with the Griffins scoring five goals in the 20-minute stretch and extending their lead to 17-0 just after the 13-minute (12:58) mark. The Golden Falcons got their lone shot of the contest from junior defender Tainely Perez (Totowa, N.J.) soon after, but it was saved by freshman goalkeeper
Valeria Amaya (Oakland Calif.) to preserve the shutout. In the end, the Griffins added four more goals for good measure, leaving the final spread at 21-0.
Along with the shot attempt, Perez also collected a groundball and a draw control.
