Box Score East Stroudsburg, Pa. - (11/22/2017) – A determined 24-point performance from senior guard Demetrius Isaac (Philadelphia, Pa.) was not enough to carry Chestnut Hill College in a 111-77 final at East Stroudsburg University. The Warriors placed five players in double figures, out rebounded the Griffins 51-32, and turned the Scarlet and Gold over 27 times in the process. Isaac earned half of his points at the free throw line (12-of-15, .750) and he received support from junior guard Liban Awl (Manassas, Va.), who hit three (3-of-7, .429) from long range in a 17-point effort.

East Stroudsburg University (3-0) attacked from the outside-in as a pair of long range baskets helped the home team to an early 10-5 (14:59) lead over Chestnut Hill College (1-4). He hit 11-of-12 (.917) from the free throw line while grabbing four rebounds and dishing out three assists in a valiant effort, yet the Scarlet and Gold fell behind by 24 points, 66-42, at halftime and as many as 35 points, 93-58, midway (10:02) through the second half.

Five Warriors finished in double figures; junior forward Josh Williams (Trenton, N.J.) led group with 18 points off the East Stroudsburg University bench. Fellow reserve, senior forward Ralik Wise (Philadelphia, Pa.) offered 13 points and a team-high seven rebounds.

Isaac recorded seven rebounds, four assists, and a steal in addition to his two dozen points. Awl added four rebounds and four assists to his fourth straight double digit scoring effort. Junior guard Cartier Talford (Reading, Pa.) was the third Griffin in double figures with 11 points in excess of three rebounds, three assists, and a block.
