Post University (2-9, 2-1) scored the first goal of the affair with 11:36 remaining in the opening quarter, 1-0, and a connection between Klusaritz and senior midfielder
Joshua Pope (Schnecksville, Pa.) brought Chestnut Hill College (5-8, 2-1) even, 1-1, just four minutes later (7:24). Unfortunately, the Eagles scored in the closing minute (0:59) of the period to take a 2-1 edge into the quarter break. They added two more scores (6:48, 4:00 2QTR) to their advantage, 4-1, before the Griffins could issue a response. The Scarlet and Gold rebuttal came at on an unassisted goal from freshman attack

Refocused, Chestnut Hill College scored the first two goals of the third quarter, pulling even with Post University thanks to a Klusaritz-Wilden connection at 10:34 (5-4) and a collaboration between junior attack
Casey Brown (Havre de Grace, Md.) and Klusaritz at 7:04 (5-5). Unfortunately, the Eagles' late-quarter scoring trend continued in the second half, where they secured the win with last goal of both the third (6-5, 2:24) and fourth (7-6, 7:04) quarters.
Senior attack Frank Nicholas Jr. (Carlsbad, Calif.) led Post University with three goals, an assist, and four ground balls. Fellow senior, Mike Brumber (Hicksville, N.Y.) headlined the Eagle defensive unit with three caused turnovers, while sophomore goalkeeper Manuele D'Alessio (Mount Laurel, N.J.) (2-9) made 15 saves and recovered a ground ball behind him.
