Chestnut Hill College (10-6, 7-2) and Dominican College (6-9, 5-4) meet this past weekend for the conclusion of their respective league schedules. The Lady Chargers secured a 4-0 advantage before senior attack Julia Galantich (Clinton Corners, N.Y.) and junior midfielder Julia Reinert (Bridgeport, Pa.) awoke the Griffin offense for a 10-4 run to halftime, 10-8, and helped keep the Scarlet and Gold ahead in an eventual 18-15 conclusion. Reinert led Chestnut Hill College with seven points (6 goals, 1 assist), three ground balls, a draw, and two caused turnovers. Her six scores are a season-high, while her seven points matches a season-high (5 goals, 2 assists) that she established in the Griffins' 19-12 victory over Holy Family University on April 4. Galantich totaled five goals, an assist, a ground ball, a draw, and two caused turnovers, while sophomore midfielder Spencer Fitzgerald (Huntingtown, Md.) finished with four goals, a ground ball, two draws, and a caused turnover. Senior midfielder Erica McLaughlin (Magnolia, N.J.) (4-3, 17:07), senior midfielder Hunter Leckonby (Charleston, S.C.) (9-8, 0:15), and sophomore attack Dai Pearson (Pottstown, Pa.) (10-8, 0:02) were responsible for the other three Griffin goals, while freshman Shenna Grady (West Chester, Pa.) (1-0) earned her first collegiate win with 10 saves and a ground ball.

Tuesday's quarterfinal winners will advance to the CACC Semifinals, which will be hosted - along with the league championship – at Georgian Court University this Saturday, April 28, and Sunday, April 29. Georgian Court University earned the top seed for the tournament, as the Lions finished 9-0 in league play to claim the CACC Regular Season Championship. Therefore, the Lions will face the winner of the #4 Caldwell University/#5 Wilmington University quarterfinal, while #2 Jefferson will meet the victor of the #3 Chestnut Hill College/#6 Dominican College quarterfinal. The official bracket is available at the CACC Women's Lacrosse home page. Information on live video, live statistics, and the official digital program of the championship will be released later this week on CACCAthletics.org.
