Box Score | Villanova, Pa. - (4/5/2018) – In their second and final National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I crossover of the season, Chestnut Hill College visited Villanova University for this afternoon's match. There, the Wildcats scored the doubles point with a clean sweep and clinched the match with the first three singles decisions of the affair. Junior Felix Andre (Berlin, Germany) and senior Pedro Festugato Regalin (Caxias do Sul, Brazil) added the Griffins' points afterwards, respectively winning in the first (6-2, 2-6, 6-3) and sixth (6-3, 6-1) flights.
 
Villanova University (9-11) got ahead of Chestnut Hill College (6-5) with the doubles point, which they earned with a 6-2 win at number two and 6-4 wins at number one and number three. The Wildcats' clinching singles scores followed at number four (6-3, 6-3), number five (6-3, 6-0), and number two (2-6, 6-1, 6-1). Andre's number one singles win finished next, earning the Griffins' first point before senior Lucas Bocaletto (Itatiba, Brazil) dropped a hard-fought match at number three singles (7-5, 3-6, 7-6 (12-10)). Regalin's win at number six singles earned the Scarlet and Gold's second point and concluded the match.
 
The Chestnut Hill College men's tennis team opens their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) season on Saturday, April 5, when they visit Post University for a 1:00 p.m. match.
