The Griffins scored first in game one, but a series of miscues allowed the Eagles to end the game in five innings, 10-2. Lily Winn (Los Angeles, Calif.) collected three hits (3-for-5) hits in the twin bill, while Griffin pitching staff allowed only three earned runs on 15 hits and five walks.
In the first their first at-bat of the afternoon, Chestnut Hill College (0-14, 0-7) put a pair of runs on the scoreboard. A leadoff walk to junior

Ariel Magee (North Cape May, N.J.), and a single to right field from junior first baseman
Alex Sauer (New Milford, N.J.) plated the first, 1-0. The second was Magee, who crossed the plate on a double steal with Sauer, 2-0. Unfortunately, Post University (10-12, 8-2) used five hits and a pair of Griffin errors to retaliate with seven runs in the second inning, 7-2. From there, the Eagles added two runs in the third inning, 9-2, and a run in the fourth inning to end the game after the top of the fifth, 10-2. Post University established a sizeable advantage in the second inning of game two, plating five runs on four hits and three Griffin errors. The Eagles added a sixth run in the third inning, which was more than enough to outlast Chestnut Hill College in a 6-3 end. The Scarlet and Gold scored their first run in the fourth inning with Winn doubling home Sauer. The other two crossed in the sixth inning, when a one-out walk to Winn, a single from junior catcher
