The Chestnut Hill College Women's Basketball team returns home on Saturday for their second Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game of the season, hosting Goldey-Beacom College at the Sorgenti Arena.
The Series:
Saturday's contest will be the 27
th meeting between Goldey-Beacom and Chestnut Hill since the series began in 2008. Goldey-Beacom holds a 17-9 advantage in the all-time series while the Griffins are 7-6 all-time against the Lightning at Sorgenti Arena. The Griffins have won the last three contests against the Lightning and five of their last six meetings dating back to the 2017-18 season.
CACC Action:
Both Goldey-Beacom and Chestnut Hill won their respective conference season openers on Wednesday are 1-0 in conference play. The Lightning defeated Georgian Court University 90-78 while the Griffins handed Holy Family University a 66-63 loss.

Three players scored in double figures as the Chestnut Hill women's basketball team held off holy Family University to earn a 66-63 win Wednesday night in their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opener at the Campus Center on Holy Family's campus in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Leah Miller led all scorers with 16 points while grabbing a team-high nine rebounds.
Morgan Orloski came off the bench to score 15 points while
Cassie Sebold added 11. Sebold dished out five assists and tied her career high with eight rebounds.
Miller Earns CACC Weekly Honor Roll for a Second Time
Leah Miller (Punxsutawney, Pa.) has been named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll for her performance in the Griffins' game at Bloomsburg University last week.
This week's honor marks the second time this season that the senior forward has been recognized by the conference. Miller was named to the Weekly honor roll on November 15 following her performance in Chestnut Hill's two opening weekend games.
Against Bloomsburg, Miller led the team with 17 points and 14 rebounds, recording her second double-double of the season and 15
th of her career, the fourth most in program history.
Moving up the Ranks
Cassie Sebold has moved into second place on the Griffins' all-time assist list with 356 for her career. Sebold also moved up to 9
th all-time on Chestnut Hill's scoring list following the Bloomsburg game with 1,025 career points. With her 15
th double-double of her career against Bloomsburg,
Leah Miller moves past current Griffin assistant Lindsay Alexander into fourth place on the Griffins' all-time list. Miller has also moved up to 9
th place on Chestnut Hill's all-time rebound list with 455.
Sebold Joins the 1,000 Point Club
Cassie Sebold made five free throws in the final 1:41 of the game and scored the 1,000
th point of her college career as the Chestnut Hill College women's Basketball Team overcame a four point fourth quarter deficit and rallied to defeat West Chester University 80-68 Sunday afternoon
Sebold, a senior guard and the team's leading scorer for the 2019-20 season, entered the game needing 15 points to become the tenth player in program history to reach the coveted 1,000-point plateau. She was still eight points shy of the mark as the teams entered the fourth quarter an
d six points shy as the game entered the final three minutes. Sebold made a driving layup at the 2:59 mark tying the game. The senior guard then went to free throw line three times in the final 1:41. Sebold's first free throw in her final trip to the charity stripe (with 30 seconds left) was the milestone reaching point. She also made the second which provided the final 12-point margin of victory and gave her 16 points on the afternoon.

An Impressive Debut
Freshman
Emily Chmiel came off the bench on Saturday, November 13 to score 10 points and grab a team high nine rebounds in the Griffins 66-51 loss to Molloy. The 6-2 freshman also had three blocks and two steals against the Lions. Chmiel was the Griffins top rebounder the next day grabbing seven boards in CHC's win over Queens while scoring 13 points.

Briana Seltzer has continued to lead her team, dropping 26 points on 9-of-17 shooting and cashing in a perfect 8-8 from the free throw line to go with nine rebounds.
Junior Alexis Harrison had a solid game once again, adding 22 points on 9-of-14 from the field, going 4-of-9 from the charity stripe and grabbing four boards. Harrison is averaging a team high 15.4 points per game.
