Two members of the Chestnut Hill College Golf team have been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference 2023-24 Men's Golf All-Academic Team. The team was announced earlier today by the conference office.
The two athletes named to the all-academic team are both first time honorees for golf. Senior
Noah Cutting is also a two-time honoree for men's tennis all-academic team while junior
Connor McGrogan earns conference all-academic team honors for the first time.
In order to be eligible for the CACC All-Academic Teams, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, must have been a student-athlete at their current school for at least two semesters, and must have achieved a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher through the preceding semester.
Cutting graduated earlier this month with a degree in Business Administration and Management. This is the senior athlete's second CACC all-Academic honor. Noah was inducted into Chi Alpha sigma, the national student athlete honor society in the spring of 2023. He is poised to earn his third ITA Scholar Athlete Award next month and has earned Dean's List and CHC Athletic Academic honor roll accolades three times during his career as a Griffin.
McGrogan, a law and legal studies major, is in his second season with the Griffins following a transfer from Camden County College. He has earned Dean's List and CHC Athletic Academic Honor roll accolades in each of his first four semesters at chestnut Hill.
A total of eight Chestnut Hill golfers, including this year's honorees have earned CACC All-Academic honors a total of 15 times since 2007-08 with three players earning the honor three times.
