Andrew Radomicki is proud to announce that assistant men's basketball coach
Mike Bowens has been elevated to Associate Head Coach effective immediately.

Mike Bowens as our new Associate Head Coach," said Radomicki. Â "Mike has earned this position with hard work and dedication not only to the Chestnut Hill Program as whole but to giving our student-athletes the best possible experience day in and day out. "
Bowens has served as the Griffins' assistant men's basketball coach for three seasons, joining the program in 2021 under then head coach J.J. Butler. His primary focus has been the recruitment of players in the greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, metropolitan area, as well as scouting reports, player development and the creation and implementation of the staff's defensive game plan.
Prior to joining the Griffins, Bowens was the Associate Head Coach at Penn State Brandywine for three seasons (2018-2021) serving as the Nittany Lions defensive coordinator and recruiter.
Before he joined the staff at PSU-Brandywine, Coach Bowens was the head boy's junior varsity coach and assistant varsity coach at Friends Central School (2015-2018). There, he had the pleasure of coaching current Atlanta Hawk guard/forward De'Andre Hunter. Bowens has also coached numerous Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) teams, including the East Coast Power Under-17 National team (2016-2018).
Bowen's earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Cabrini University in 2014 and his masters in sport coaching leadership in 2019 from Drexel University.
