Afterwards, Lyle, Klusaritz, and Pope popped the net with fourth-quarter goals that ushered Chestnut Hill College to a 14-7 triumphed.
Freshman attack Jake Shendervosky (Gurnee, Ill.) and junior attack Sean Cavanaugh (Silver Lake, Ohio) scored two goals apiece for the Cavaliers, who also received a goal from freshman attack Maurice Kelly (Fort Saskatacewan, A.B.), sophomore attack Kevin McMahon (Buffalo, N.Y.), and freshman attack Kevin Maxey (Wawautosa, Wisc.). Freshman goalkeeper Noah Ross (Frederickburgs, Va.) (1-8) made 12 saves in the loss.
Klusaritz's four goals came with one assist. Pope, Howell, and Philistine all finished with two goals and an assist.
