Box Score Rochester, N.Y. – (4/22/2018) – Completing their 2018 regular season schedule, Chestnut Hill College visited Roberts Wesleyan College for this afternoon's non-conference competition. The Redhawks scored the first two goals of the contest and paced the Griffins to a 20-8 final that was highlighted by four goals from senior attack

Erica McLaughlin (Magnolia, N.J.) (2-1, 23:51) and Galantich were the only two Griffins to score in an opening 6-2 run that separated Roberts Wesleyan College (9-7) from Chestnut Hill College (10-6). Sophomore midfielder

Dai Pearson (Pottstown, Pa.) temporarily brought the Scarlet and Gold back within two goals, 6-4 (6:21), but a three-goal, Redhawk reprise pushed the home team edge to five goals, 9-4, for halftime. After intermission, Roberts Wesleyan College more than doubled their position as they owned a 16-6 lead with 15:18 remaining in the contest and extended their margin of victory to a dozen (12) scores, 20-8, before game's end.
Four Redhawks scored at least three goals; freshman midfielder Taylor Nathan (Gates, N.Y.) led the quartet with six scores, but freshman midfielder Emily Tomei (Webster, N.Y) was a major contributor for Roberts Wesleyan College with four goals, six assists, a ground ball, six draws, and two caused turnovers. In goal, sophomore Victoria Greco (Palmyra, N.Y.) (9-7) totaled 11 saves and 11 ground balls.
Galantich added two ground balls, four draws, and a caused turnovers to her four goals. Senior midfielder
Hunter Leckonby (Charleston, S.C.) joined McLaughlin, Fitzgerald, and Pearson with a goal in excess of her two ground balls and two caused turnovers. Freshman
Shenna Grady (West Chester, Pa.) (1-1) made a dozen (12) saves, recovered five ground balls, and caused turnover in the affair.
The Chestnut Hill College women's lacrosse team has earned the #3 seed in the upcoming Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament and therefore will host #6 Dominican College in a quarterfinal contest on Tuesday, April 24. The time of game is yet to be determined.
