The first half of play between Chestnut Hill College (4-4, 1-1) and Holy Family University (1-7, 1-2) was highly competitive as Leckonby scored the game's first goal (1-0, 28:59) and gave the Griffins their largest lead of the period, 6-3 (12:26), before the Tigers tallied the final two goals of the frame, 6-5 (1:52).
