Lafayette Hill, Pa. - (9/8/2021) - Sophomore defender Caitlin Geiger (Philadelphia, Pa.) approached a 40-yard free kick with confidence and struck it to the back of the Queens College (0-0-1) goal late in the 39th minute (1-0, 38:47). Unfortunately, a Chestnut Hill College (0-1-1)  foul in the box gave the Knights a successful free kick of their own midway through the 57th minute (1-1, 56:30). Neither side scored in the remainder of regulation, precipitating overtime play. There the Griffins looked to play the ball to senior forwards Maddie Jimenez (Bensalem, Pa.) and Olivia Medeiros (Bristol, R.I.), but ran out of time in an eventual 1-1 double overtime tie.
